yeah... finally it became true. we in OXYRON are organizing our first party (with some help of a few
other ppl.)
we thought we had to organize a party because of oxyrons 15th birthday in december 2006 (gifts are always welcome *lol*)
at first we only wanted to do a "small" oxyron meeting with alot of the old members from the past and some local friends (maybe like 30 ppl). later on we thought a "big" party would be more fun. so now everyone is invited to be part of this event - no matter on what kind of system (c64, amiga, atari, pc... whatever) - plz help us to make this party sucessful by showing up yourself and telling your friends about it.
lets come up with some hard facts about the party:
- the event is starting friday the 23rd february 2007 at 5 PM and ends february the 25th 2007 at 1 PM. (at 2PM everybody except for the organizers has to leave the party place)
- the party is taking place in flensburg (northern germany - close to the danish border)

- this party is for all platforms like c64, amiga, atari, pc... and whatever you want to bring along with you.
- we dont want this to become a lan-party with lots of gamers only. we prefer a small quality party with ppl interested in the demoscene. so if you want to game plz look for a lan-party
- ppl schould be 18 years or older if they want to visit our party - since we dont want to get in trouble with angry parents or the law if kids start drinking alcohol or watching porn or whatever. plz respect this rule because theres no way for younger ppl to enter the party-hall (we will check the identification if necessary.)
- we have found a really nice location (school) with a small hall for around 200 people plus hardware, maybe
a few more. find some photos of that location HERE!
we want to be honest... if more than 75 ppl are showing up its a success for us. some more would be nice anyways. - theres lots of space for parking close to the building (even 100+ cars should be no problem)
- some shops and snack bars are around 600m - 1000m away from the party place. two "burger king" restaurants are easy to reach by car.
- smoking inside the party-hall is forbidden, but something like a park is surrounding the school-building. so its not too bad to go out side for a cigarette.
- no houses are close to the party-place, so if we go outside and make some noise we wont disturb any neighbours.
- we will have some kind of a catering. a friend whos having a bakery will sell stuff like croissants in the morning and in the evening at a fixed time (we will inform you about the time at the party)... besides that we will try to make a good deal with a local pizza delevery service to grant good prices.
- we will provide coffee for for free 24 hrs a day since we found a sponsor who is going to provide us the amount of 5kg coffee.
- the party place is easy to reach by car - no matter if you come from the south or from scandinavia
- a 3x3m big-screen (silver screen) and a sound and light-system is already installed in that hall
- the entrance fee will be 20,00 EUROS (no other valuta possible) - we will not take the money to fill up our own
pockets - but we have alot of costs like: the hall, technical equipment like a beamer, cables, cleaning up the hall
after the party... we think 20,00 EUROS is a good entrance fee for a party of this size (75-200 ppl) compared to other
partys.
Btw Girls get in for only 10,00 EUROS - will there be any kind of competition? OFCOURSE! actually we think of some fun-competitions (to be announced at the party). but there will be serious competitions too,

- we are looking for sponsors of any kind since we are looking for nice competition prices like hardware, software and whatever. if you are willing to be a sponsor plz contact us. we can offer you a link/ logo on our website, plus a printed logo on a flyer we are going to hand over to everybody entering the partyplace. you will also be named as a sponsor when we are going for the price-giving ceremony or at another good point of time during the party.
- people causing any kind of trouble will be warned or directly thrown out (depends on what they caused)... please behave like adults. drinking alcohol is no problem (we will have some beer ourselfes) but drinking alcohol and for example damage something at the party-place is absolutely not. we (the organizers) will have to pay for all kind of damage caused.
