if theres any information you need - but is not provided here, plz just ask in our forum
at first lets go for some general informations about the competitions:
- every platform not listed below, can ofcourse be used for a competition-entry. but your contribution will be shown in a "mixed-competition".
- compo machines we can provide will most likely be:
- Standard C-64 (Pal) with 1541 II
- Amiga 1200 60/50mHz, OS 3.1, 64MB Fastram
- PC: Athlon 64 - 3200 with a Geforce 6600GT inside, and 1GB of Ram, Windows XP. (if you plan to compete with a DOS demo plz let us know by email) - If you plan to release something on another system you can send us an email and
we will see if we can provide that machine. we have lots of hardware (like atari ste, falcon and many more)
but maybe not everything needed
in case of daubt you should bring your own equipment for the competition. but plz send us an email what kind of platform that will be (or just let us know in our forum so we can see if we can make it possible to show your contribution on the silver screen. otherwise if its a special kind of platform we cant guarantee that. thanks. - you can send in your competition entry by email but if you dont attend at the party you will be debarred of the price-giving.
- if we dont have a minimum of 3 entrys per compo - those entrys will be shown in a mixed compo.
- deadlines and timetables will be announced at the party. but deadlines for all competition entrys will be sometime saturday evening.
- dont compete with a production which already was released before. it has to be something new/ unused or you will be disqualifyed if we find out this rule is broken.
- we cant announce the competition prizes yet, because we are still looking for sponsors. we already found some, but
you should send in your entry for fun and fame anyways, since we dont like the idea of competing for money or any material prizes only.
the rewards we will be able to give out will be announced at the party itself. if lots of ppl come and pay the entrance fee we will eventually be able to give some prize money too.
