- what is the demoscene and what is this website about?
if you dont know what the demoscene is, you wont be someone we made this site for (we are sorry to say that) but if you really want to learn about the demoscene, demogroups and something like that, just check Wikipedia for informations. - whats the sense of this party?
since the demogroup oxyron is now 15 years old we thought that might be a good reason for organizing a party. but to be honest the real sense of the party is just meeting ppl that are still active in the scene or that left the scene but are still interested in whats going on. we want to have alot of fun, a few beer and want to see some demos. thats all :-) - will there be a minimum age?
yes! everyone who wants to visit our party has to be 18 years or older. just because we dont want to get in trouble with the child-welfare cause of drinking kids or kids watching porn or whatever. so nobody under 18 years is allowed to enter the party-place (we are sorry)
- where is the party-place?
the party will be held in flensburg. flensburg is a german city with 86.000 population very close to the danish border which should be very good for scandinavian visitors. if you want to know more about flensburg, just klick HERE

the party will be held from the 23rd to the 25th february 2007. - will there be enough parking space?
ofcourse... theres lots of parking space for your cars (even more than 100 cars wont be a problem.) - i dont know flensburg... where is it?
flensburg is close to the danish border (german side). if you want to see it on a map, just click the button below - how much is the entrance fee?
we will have an entrance fee of 20.00 euros. things like the room, tables, chairs, cleaning up and so on will cost some money. - do girls have to pay the full entrance fee? ofcourse not! girls only pay 10,00 EUROS.
- how many visitors do you expect?
we actually think of a dimension of around 60 up to 150 ppl. but if needed theres space for around 200 ppl with hardware. so sign ups for the party will actually be limited to 200. if less than 40 ppl are willing to come we will have to cancel the party. - what kind of competitions will be held?
well, we are actually thinking about some fun- and crazy competitions. check back in a few days to learn more. stuff like time-tables and so on will be decided soon. but depending on the amount of visitors we plan to have serious competitions too, sorted like this: 8-bit mixed compo, 16-bit mixed compo... and so on. you should check back soon. - what about the catering?
actually it looks like we will have someone from a bakery selling croissants and stuff at the party-place. we also try to make a good deal with a local pizza-service. - will there be a bigscreen?
yes we definately plan to have a bigscreen! - can we expect any other kind of entertainment program?
thats actually not sure. besides the fun-compos and viewing a few demos nothing is planned yet - but if any of you readers has a musicband and wants to play for free or very little money - feel welcome to contact us. - is the registration binding?
the registration is not binding yet. it just helps us to see how many ppl are interested in coming to plan the event on some serious data. plz only register if you are seriously interested. (maximum registrations will be 200 atm) - why do i need to give you my email?
we will use the submitted email addresses to keep ppl informed with a newsletter. we wont give away your email to any third party, and we wont send you any spam with lots of advertisings. - who is going to be at the party?

yes, we would like you to bring any kind of hardware, especially C64, Amiga, Atari etc. with you (pc is welcome too). but if you dont want to bring anything with you - you dont really need to. - will there be a sleeping-hall?
yes we will have a separated sleeping-hall with space for 40 or 50 ppl sleeping at the same time. since not everybody is sleeping at the same time we hope that will do. dont forget to bring your own sleeping bags. if you prefer to book a hotel, find some informations HERE
